No flipping!
The worst part of working the Super Bowl shift is missing out on the alternate programming. With pre-game coverage starting at 1:30 p.m., there’s no way to catch a marathon on another channel. Which is a shame, because TV marathons appeal to the efficient-compulsive in me.
The Hallmark Channel will be showing a “Little House on the Prairie‿ marathon. The USA Channel has a “Monk‿ marathon. The Food Network is serving a Paula Deen smorgasbord. VH1 is bingeing on “America’s Next Top Model.‿ TLC offers a “What Not to Wear‿ marathon. And over on Bravo, there’s a very special, two-hour episode of “Inside the Actors Studio‿ beginning at 8 p.m. featuring Miss Liza Minnelli.
Be honest. What are you Tivoing?

My TIVO is going to be humming on Super Bowl Sunday, because SPIKE TV has just the best programming on television.
I plan on TIVO'ing a nice three-hour block that includes TRAIN WRECKS (really, who can get enough of that?) and then back-to-back episodes of WHEN ANIMALS ATTACK!
One complaint, however. The WAA episodes are III and IV (I think the latter has something to do with a hyena) when really episodes II and VII are the best. (Ep. II has an awesome ferret ambush on some guy!)
Keep up the good work, Footblogger!
Footblog responds:
In addition to admiring your taste in television, I adore your use of Roman numerals in honor of the big game. I'm going to try to do it all day.
