White Sox trade rumors

| 1 Comment | No TrackBacks

Reports continued Saturday that the White Sox remain interested in Boston third baseman Kevin Youkilis and may be the leading contender for him. Youkilis has lost playing time to Will Middlebrooks, the reports say Boston manager Bobby Valentine has told Youkilis his playing time will be reduced.
The White Sox signed Orlando Hudson after he was released by San Diego as a stop-gap when Brent Morel went out with back problems. Morel's condition has since been diagnosed as more serious, requiring a lengthy rehab at best. Hudson, a career second baseman, has been adequate but is learning on the job. He is hitting only .160.
``You hear trade rumors and guys will about about stuff, but it's just like when you were a player,'' manager Robin Ventura said Saturday. ``You can't react to them unless they come true. There's no reason looking at them unless they become true.''

OK this is a pipe dream! There is nobody on the Sox that Boston would be or could be remotely interested in. The Sox are not going to give up on Sale, Beckham (Jury still out there), and most of our young relievers. So that leaves me thinking who would Boston or any other team want because more than half of the roster including the Manger are Bums
