NEW YORK -- White Sox reliever Jesse Crain left the team before its game against the New York Yankees on Thursday night to see a local doctor about tightness right shoulder. Crain returned before the game with a clean bill of health, a Sox spokesman said.
Crain had a brief conversation with pitching coach Don Cooper before the game and said he wasn't feeling at his best. Shortly after, he left in street clothes. He returned to Yankee Stadium but was not expected to be available to pitch Thursday under those circumstances.
