Kuroda, Yankees blank White Sox

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

NEW YORK -- The Yankees hit three solo home runs against Jake Peavy, who got his usual dose of poor run support in the White Sox' 4-0 loss on Saturday.

Curtis Granderson, Dewayne Wise and Robinson Cano homered, and Hiroki Kuroda struck out 11 Sox over seven innings. Peavy (6-5) struck out 11 and walked none.

The Yankees stopped the Sox' four-game winning streak.
