CLEVELAND - Ozzie Guillen was tossed from the game in the sixth inning, just minutes after Jermaine Dye was tossed by home plate umpire Mike DiMuro for arguing a called third strike and then slamming his batting helmet down.
Guillen began yelling stuff from the dugout in DiMuro's direction as Dye left the field, and then was told to join his right fielder in the clubhouse. Guillen did go out and argue for a few minutes with DiMuro and James Hoye, but then left the field.
It was Dye's third career ejection and Guillen's 17th.

Why would you include a picture of the wrong umpire (Phil Cuzzi)with this story about umpire Mike DiMuro?
NOTE FROM COWLEY: It's just a file art picture. Of course it's Cuzzi.
ANGRY OZZIE WINS BALL GAMES!
LET OZZIE BE OZZIE!
WAT TO GO SKIPPER!!
This is a picture of the wrong umpire. Who is responsible for this oversight? Please correct the photo attached to this story. It's misleading.
COWLEY NOTE: C'mon people...and Jose Contreras doesn't actually wear a uniform that reads "Cuba'' on it anymore.
C'mon, Joe: the photo accompanying the article ~is~ misleading: at least caption the photo with the correct info regarding the photo's subject. Don't make lame excuses for the poor judgement in selecting a photo of Ozzie arguing with a different umpire than the ump involved in the incident being reported. And don't call out your good readers for calling attention to what ~is~ a glaring error in publishing judgement.
