DETROIT - The Sox have just announced that Scott Podsednik has been signed to a minor-league contract. He was not injured during the signing of the contract.

LOL.

The tongue in cheek comment sums up my view of the signing.

He could be on the DL well before Wise is ready.

If they want a CF from the 05 team, I'm almost more inclined to send some AA bum to get Willie Harris back.

At least he says healthy, and can play 2B to boot.

even if pods is hurt they won't have to pay him much this is exciting for the sox and wise owen and anderson r not good
