Wise is the man

TEMPE, Ariz. - Dewayne Wise was called into the office this morning and told he will be the leadoff hitter and starting center fielder to begin the year. It will not be a platoon situation with Brian Anderson as first thought with Jerry Owens being waived.

.254 OBP in 468 major league at-bats. Yea, this is going to work out real well.

I like this line-up until we trade for Cabrera, Pierre or Matthews.

Quentin
Ramirez
Dye
Thome
Paulie
Fields
AJ
Getz
Wise

Get the best hitters the most at bats, take the pressure off Getz and DeW and lets get serious about a leadoff man. Otherwise I just might start thinking this is a rebuilding project with a smoke screen.
