Colon's stock up - Contreras' falling

| No Comments | No TrackBacks

GLENDALE - Ozzie Guillen has to be feeling a little bit better about the Bartolo Colon situation, as the burly right-hander threw 4 1/3 scoreless innings, allowing just two hits, no walks and fanning four.
Colon was expected to just go three, but was efficient to say the least, throwing 43 pitches, 33 for strikes.
As for Jose Contreras, he's been shaky for a second consecutive start, still trying to find some consistency with his splitty.
