Here’s a quick glance at what’s happening around the American League Central.

The Twins open a key four-game series against the White Sox tonight, but they will be without the pesky Nick Punto. The Twins are carrying 13 pitches, but aren’t having much success with the formula.

The Tigers return home, which isn’t necessarily good news. They are on of the few teams that find little comfort at home. They expect to see some strikes tonight against the Indians’ Paul Byrd.

Young Indians outfielder Ben Francisco is coming off a banner series.

Check back later for updates.

3 MORE WINS VS TWINS AND GO TAKE 3 FROM DETROIT ADDS UP TO ANOTHER WIN STREAK. OF 10 THIS TIME ...WOULD BE GREAT AND NOT BEYOND THE REALM OF POSSIBILITIES...GLAD TO SEE ALL THE OFF SEASON NAYSAYERS CHOKING GOOD ON THEIR CROW AND WISHING THEY HADN'T VOWED TO BOYCOTT THE WHITE SOX THIS YEAR....REAL CHUMPS..AND NOT TRUE SOX FANS DON'T ACT LIKE THAT..GOOD RIDDANCE NIT - WIT'S.

Go back one week and listen to all the naysayers ie; arm chair managers, gGM's,. broadcasters and their doomsday approach to a 162 gm season. with only 1/3rd played. Yes the Sox GM and
manager are the best in the game and know what they are doing. Not a couch potatoe with all the answers. Another 5 in a Row and lets make it 10 this time. and oh yes Zam-Bam so tremendous he and the goat with help the Cubs self destruct again as usual 101 years of futility...GO SOX best in Town ! Best pitching and best defense and Hitting on fire !

I appreciate these reports, especially Cle, but honestly no ALC team can consistently beat these Sox. The pitching is just getting better & it's already the best in the league. How much better can it get when it's below a 3.3 ERA?

If the hitters just put up their car avg's the Sox will flat out dominate teams. We are seeing that now.

But it's bittersweet because all Sox fans are Crede fans & we want him to stay. We feel that even w Boras as his agent he's been very fair to the Sox. Like Koney, Crede will take a little less to stay w the Sox. Give him that opportunity. He's been underpaid since 2004. Don't pinch the dough now.

this can't be right...according to the begining of the season all these white sox boy cotters said we were going to be 10 games behind the tigers and indians....i even remeber hearing that the pitching is not good at all...kenny williams is not a good GM....Well I hope you are still boycotting the white sox because we don't want fans like you around....This team is very remarkable and I give Kenny and Ozzie all the credit in the world....GO White Sox!!!
