Here's a quick glance at what's happening around the American League Central.

The White Sox open a three-game series tonight against the Indians, who are coming off an embarrassing showing against the Reds. The Indians’ poor start is being felt at the gate.

Maybe just as important to Sox fans is the series that opens tonight between the Tigers and Twins at the Metrodome.

Patrick Reusse of the Minneapolis Star Tribune notes that Major League Baseball’s hurry-up mandate lit a fire under the Twins.

Miguel Cabrera moves into the cleanup spot in the Tigers’ lineup after Magglio Ordonez was put on the disabled list.

Check back later for updates.

Bartman was blamed for cubs choke job in 03! A Sox fan almost cost the Sox a run in Indians game .Hey Chi fans..when a ball is hit by the home team keep your hands off the ball ! Bartman certainly famous in 03 but at least his ball was hit foul. Cubs did a choke job on the field & can't blame Bartman at all as it turned out! Its not the playoffs yet for Sox ,but lets put the bottle down for a second fans & realize your not suppose to touch a ball especially in play by your team! Sox added a "5" spot in spite of a not so smart fan move.

To win in baseball, you have to have a lot of good fortune. And things are really working out for the Sox.
