Here's a quick glance at what's happening around the American League Central.

Upstaging reliever Joel Zumaya’s return to the Tigers tonight is an even better story — the Tigers — as the Detroit News’ Tom Gage points out.

Read this story and find out why White Sox manager Ozzie Guillen calls the Twins the ‘‘Piranhas.’’

The Cleveland Plain Dealer’s Terry Pluto has seen enough to know the Indians are done. Meanwhile, the Indians continue to play the waiting game with designated hitter Travis Hafner.

This organziaiton and this team are embarassments to Chicago.

Would you please explain for me why it is that managers/pitching coaches today feel compelled to pull starting pitchers when the pitcher is at or near one hundred pitches thrown. Yesterday, against the Cubbies was a case in point where Danks was rolling along and did not appear to be tiring. Yet, Ozzie makes the change to Dotel and the rest is history. In my humble opinion Ozzie is fully responsible for yesterday's loss along with any other loss where he pulls a starter at one hundred pitches when the starter is on a obvious roll and not tiring. Looking forward to your response.
