With their victory in the opener of the a three-game series against the White Sox, the Tigers pulled off a rare feat.

Mike Lamb got benched by the Twins during his 0-for-20 skid. Meanwhile, the Twins’ skid reached six consecutive losses.

Indians ace C.C. Sabathia was in a zone against the Twins.

Check back later for updates.

The Sox are on top, which is a good thing. I am concerned that it has to take a profanity-laced tirade to get the team motivated. If this is the only wat to get the guys going, how long will this strategy be effective before the boss gets tuned out? Motivation should come from being a professional, not because the manager has to be bleeped on TV and edited in the newspaper! Go Soxx!
