CLEVELAND – I don’t believe in baseball Gods and I’m not superstitious when it comes to baseball rituals, so here it goes: John Danks has a no-hitter through five innings pitched.

As far as the second-year lefty wanting to see what his new cutter can do in a real game, well, it’s working, as Tribe hitters look completely off balance.
Danks also has the lead, after Juan Uribe hit a solo home run off Cleveland starter Jake Westbrook.
