Good-natured stars have guested on "Sesame Street" for decades, but now there might be a new status symbol: "Wow Wow Wubbzy." Beyonce will voice the character Shine for a week on the Nickelodeon series, April 27-May 1. Shine is the leader of a famous girl group, and it's reportedly her first voice-over.

For the uninitiated, I'm not sure how to describe the cartoon. Wubbzy is male and yellow, and bounces around on a bendy tail. Other characters include Moo Moo the Magician, Tiny the Fleegle, and Widget.
