David Arquette latest celeb to exit the 'Dancing with the Stars' ballroom

In a stunning turn of events, David Arquette was voted off "Dancing with the Stars" on tonight's results show. Landing in the bottom two ... Nancy Grace was the other celeb left standing in the elimination round .... Arquette went into tonight's results show after a fairly good performance Monday night (yes he was second from the bottom). Grace wound up with the worst score Monday night, and should have been eliminated.

But nothing is every as it should be on "Dancing with the Stars," and judges' votes sometimes don't amount to much more than a hill of beans. Can't believe Grace has that big of a fan base when it comes to dancing, but there you have it.

The ballroom was simply stunned and showed its extreme disapproval with the results. And they were right. Arquette has been steadily improving with each week, and is one of the more entertaining contestants this season. Let's face it, he knew how to play to an audience and he looked like he was really having fun out there each week. (Wife Courtney Cox wasn't in her usual ringside seat on this night; daughter Coco was just devastated to learn her papa's fate).

Grace, on the other hand, hasn't improved all that much and she and her partner Tristan MacManus have little or no chemistry in their very uninteresting routines.

Even as his dancing fate was sealed, Arquette brought laughter back to the ballroom by chirping (in homage to Maks' tirade last week): "This must be a mistake! This is my show!"

Special guest tonight was Justin Bieber, he of the new 'do and newly released Christmas album. He performed his hit "Never Say Never" to open the show, and later was joined by Boys II Men for his second performance of the night.

So it's on to week 8. The remaining pack includes: Rob Kardashian, Ricki Lake, J.R. Martinez, Nancy Grace and Hope Solo. My money's on Lake and Martinez battling it out for that mirrorball trophy. But then again, anything can happen...
