"Mildred Pierce" (7 p.m., Turner Classic Movies): Worried that you won't be ready for HBO's "Mildred Pierce" miniseries? Brush up on your Joan Crawford with this brilliantly timed airing of the 1945 original.

"Overnight Delivery" (8 p.m., Lifetime): I have a soft spot for this 1998 movie that starred a brunette Reese Witherspoon, Paul Rudd, and "L.A. Law's" Larry Drake. Sadly, Jim Belushi's work was edited out.

"The Best of Laugh-In" (9 p.m., WTTW-Channel 11): Efficient!

"Norm Macdonald: Me Doing Stand-Up" (10:30 p.m., Comedy Central): Whet your appetite for his upcoming Comedy Central series "Sports Show With Norm Macdonald," which premieres April 12. I very much admire his titles. One wonders how he'd do naming nail polishes. (Pink. Red.)

"Travel Channel Uncut: Bloopers and Wrong Turns" (7 p.m., Travel): I suspect that airport security looms large.

"Mildred Pierce" (8 p.m., HBO): Parts one and two of five. Kate Winslet stars, Melissa Leo steals scenes, and Todd Haynes (2002's "Far From Heaven") directs. My review is in the Sunday paper.

"Army Wives" (8 p.m., Lifetime): The episode is titled "On Behalf of a Grateful Nation," so have tissues ready (or a long sleeve).

"William & Kate: Inside the Royal Wedding" (9 p.m., TLC): Will they play the traditional "All the Single Ladies" for the bouquet toss?

"Martha Stewart Presents: Men Who Make Us Laugh" (7 p.m., Hallmark): Well, not all of them, but Conan O'Brien and Seth Meyers are a good start.

"Amazing Wedding Cakes" (9 p.m., WE): The new season starts with a leaning Tower of Pisa cake and more. Don't choke on those Swarovski crystals!
