SATURDAY
"The Good Witch's Gift" (7 p.m., Hallmark): Catherine Bell plays a bride-to-be who has scheduled her big day for Christmas Eve. You can expect nothing but Christmas-themed fare on this channel until further notice.
"The Lost Future" (8 p.m., SyFy): And if Hallmark's not your thing, you may be up for this Sean Bean movie, in which civilization has literally become a jungle, and a tribe tries to fend off mutated creatures.
"House of Dracula" (9 p.m., WCIU-Channel 26): Our correspondent Svengoolie summarizes: "A doctor hopes to cure Dracula (John Carradine) of his vampirism, and Larry Talbot of his werewolfism, but Drac turns the tables on him, mutating him into a maniac. This is the only time Chaney's Larry Talbot character sported a moustache -- which must have given him a head start on his furry transformations."
SUNDAY
"The Amazing Race 17" (7 p.m., WBBM-Channel 2): Previews revealed that a team will get engaged on this episode. Always good for a gawk.
"Extreme Makeover: Home Edition" (7 p.m. on WLS-Channel 7): Talk about an embarrassment of riches. Carrie Underwood, Keith Urban, and LeAnn Rimes all appear during the rebuilding of a school that was devastated by the flood in May.
"Industrial Light & Magic: Creating the Impossible" (7 p.m., Encore): Tom Cruise narrates the history of the special-effects company responsible for "Star Wars" and "Iron Man."
"Sarah Palin's Alaska" (8 p.m. on TLC): Among the insights you'll gain from this two-star, eight-part documentary series: Alaska is home to more than 98 percent of the population of brown bears, and daughter Piper calls her mom "Sarah" to get her attention.
