'Dancing with the Stars' sets the record straight: No booing for Sarah Palin

Ok, so 24 hours ago, there was a moment on "Dancing with the Stars" when it seemed to some out there in television land that the ballroom was booing Sarah Palin. The "moment" occurred just after Jennifer Grey and Mark Ballas got their 8s from the judges. On tonight's results show, raw video tape footage from Monday night was played to show the world that the ballroom was booing those aforementioned 8s, and the three judges.... not Ma Palin. So there you have it.

Earlier tonight, the show spent a ridiculous amount of time having judge Bruno Tonioli explain his score of 3 for Michael Bolton's dismal jive Monday night. Seems some of you out there in television land thought his score and his remarks Monday night were just too harsh for Bolton to handle. Boo-hoo-hoo. The jive was awful and the 3 was just about right. Sorry, Bruno had every right to score as he saw it. Judge Len Goodman did point out the fact that he tries to give constructive criticism as well as scores.

ABC went to great lengths to set the record straight tonight. I can't recall any other reality show that has done something similar. Why the need to explain scores and booing and hurt feelings?

Just some musings at 7:45 as we wait and WAIT and WAIT to find out who goes home. Oh and by the way, if it's Bolton, it wasn't Bruno's score that sent him home. It was his crummy dancing. Can anyone say David Hasselhoff?

Here we go again. I type in those stupid little characters, but for some reason, they're always wrong. What are they for anyway!
I'm glad Michael Bolton is gone. Love Bruno. No, Sarah Palin wasn't booed, just another false run with the media. Leave her alone, pick on someone else. After all, she can see Alaska from her house, can you, CNN?

Who would boo Sarah Palin on DWTS. I truly dislike her as a candidate for Public Office. But she has come to the show as a mom and even I who have nothing else in common with her can she is is genuinely excited for her kid but appropriately nervous about the whole venture. Her daughter, whatever you want to say about her celibacy advocacy/pregnancy theories, has come across only as sweet, hardworking and more than competent at the task before her. I certainly hope no one would boo either of them!

I don't understand what you want for URL so I cannot fill that out.

My comment is that I am glad Michael Bolton is out. He is only a fair singer and a horrible dancer and cannot take critisim. To say he was disrespected because he got a lot mark for terrible dancing
shows how thin-skinned he is and how he cannot deal with honesty about something he is unable to do. Our society give too many accolades to singers and actors who are mediocre and he is too full of himself. Goodbye to him.
