They saved the most publicity-guaranteed celeb for last tonight, as Bristol Palin stepped on to the ballroom for her quickstep with Mark Ballas. But first, we were treated to video of Bristol taking her partner Mark Ballas home to meet her mom Sarah Palin, and to take in all that Alaska wilderness beauty. Mom gave her daughter a sweet pep talk/encouraging words.. and yet, was it jsut me, or did Bristol hesitate to hug her mom? Just asking...
Bristol gets the award for the most matronly costume of the night (Florence Henderson looked younger and sexier in her lovely gown) .... what was the wardrobe department thinking?
Speaking of ghastly situations....His cha-cha was justt plain awful last week.... and this week's quick step was as flat-footed as flat-footed can be... and once again The Situation proved he can't dance.
Top of the leaderboard for a second week in a row was Jennifer Grey! And deservedly so. Her jive was incredible! And what an announcement she had for viewers!! "Dancing with the Stars saved my life," she gushed. It was during a physical exam last fall for the show that doctors discovered cancer in her neck; several surgeries and a plate and screws in her neck and the actress says she's perfectly fine.
CELEB QUOTE OF THE NIGHT:
"I've been booed by thousands of people, so one old guy from England, I think I can handle that." Kurt Warner, about judge Len Goodman's trashing his Viennese waltz in week one.
JUDGE QUOTE OF THE NIGHT:
"Your hands are the size of frying pans".... Bruno Tonioli to former quarterback Kurt Warner
So who's going Tuesday night?
It should be Michael Bolton. No, it MUST be he! Bolton scored the first-ever 3 for a dance in the ballroom!!!
