SATURDAY
"The Magic of Audrey" (8 p.m., WTTW-Channel 11): We won't pile on Emma Thompson and her disappointing opinion on Audrey Hepburn's talent. It wouldn't be elegant. We haven't yet come across "The Magic of Emma," though.
"Food of the Gods" (9 p.m., WCIU-Channel 26): Svengoolie's Saturday night special is the 1976 classic about giant wasps, cantankerous rats and a gimongous killer chicken. The backstory of star Marjoe Gortner is even more compelling: He was a child evangelist who performed his first marriage ceremony at age 4.
"Sons of Anarchy" marathon (10 p.m., FX): Well, mini-marathon, anyway; three back-to-back episodes of Stephen King's favorite series. (He's guest-starring on an upcoming episode.)
"At the Movies" (10:35 p.m., WLS-Channel 7): Michael Phillips and A.O. Scott wrap up the series with a look back at its more successful incarnations.
SUNDAY
"Big Brother 12" (7 p.m., WBBM-Channel 2): Elgin web designer Matt Hoffman, 32, is still in the running. He's the one who likes to show off his carefully tended chest hair.
"Dora's Big Birthday Adventure" (7 p.m., Nickelodeon): Will she find her way back from a magical land in time for her party? Guest voices Hector Elizondo, Rosie Perez and John Leguizamo help celebrate the show's 10-year anniversary. It's followed by a documentary about her cultural impact.
"Roast of David Hasselhoff" (9 p.m., Comedy Central): "I'm glad your career's not alive to see this," Jerry Springer tells him. Also roasting the Hoff: Pamela Anderson, Seth McFarlane, Hulk Hogan and George Hamilton.
"The Great Food Truck Race" (9 p.m., Food): Mobile eateries compete for $50,000 (and publicity).
