"Making the Crooked Straight" (7 p.m., HBO2): A documentary about Dr. Rick Hodes, who helps the poor in Ethiopia, many of whom have serious spine diseases.

"When Families Grieve" (8 p.m., WTTW-Channel 11): Doesn't Elmo deserve some private time? First he shared his potty-training adventures on DVD, and now he's comforted by Katie Couric when his Uncle Jack dies. This special about helping children cope with death also has real-life stories.

"Ugly Betty" (9 p.m., WLS-Channel 7): The series finale. Will there be a surprising romantic confession? Yes, if it stays true to the Colombian original.

"South Park" (9 p.m., Comedy Central): Every celebrity the town has ever ridiculed - Oprah, Martha, Kanye, Mel, Tiger, Britney, Barbra, Michael - unites for a class-action suit in the 200th episode.
