Thanksgiving TV highlights, 11/26/09

"Mythbusters" marathon (8 a.m., Discovery): Adam and Jamie kick things off with a tour of their favorite shopping spots.

"The Closer" marathon (9 a.m., TNT): I can assure you from personal experience there's no better way to spend the day.

"The National Dog Show" (Noon, WMAQ-Channel 5): John O'Hurley presides over more than 2,000 canines, including some newly sanctioned breeds.

"NBC's People of the Year" (7 p.m., WMAQ-Channel 5): Matt Lauer brings you Taylor Swift, Kobe Bryant, Nadya Suleman, Susan Boyle, and airline pilot Chesley Sullenberger, whose wife reveals that "hero sex" can be very good for a marriage.

"Beyonce: I Am . . . Yours" (8 p.m., WLS-Channel 7): Her Las Vegas concert from last summer, along with childhood videos.

"Paul McCartney: 'Good Evening New York City'" (9 p.m., WLS-Channel 7): After 44 years, last summer he returned to Citi Field in Flushing, N.Y.
