Susan Boyle will perform the title track off her forthcoming album 'I Dreamed a Dream' (Columbia) tonight on "Dancing with the Stars." The album is slated for release on Nov. 23. To coincide with the release, Boyle will make her live morning TV debut on "The Today Show" on the 23rd.
Produced by Steve Mac (Leona Lewis, Kelly Clarkson), the 12-track collection features the title track (natch) as well as Boyle's take on "Cry Me A River," the Rolling Stones' "Wild Horses," Madonna's "You'll See," The Monkees' "Daydream Believer," and "Who I Was Born To Be," an original recording written especially for Boyle.
Worldwide singing sensation Susan Boyle will guest-star tonight on "Dancing with the Stars: The Results Show." AP

Hi Susan! There are no words to discribe you and your voice. The first time I heard you I thought "Oh my gosh that's the closest voice I have EVER heard in comparison to Kate Smith" You go girl, the skys the limit. Youn3r just wonderful.
I'm not sure why the judges were absent during her number (the camera panned and showed their vacant seats). Which leaves me wondering, why did they leave the ballroom? Unless her performance was actually something they taped earlier on in the day and the judges just weren't there for the "live" broadcast of that segment. It was rather rude, now that you mention it. Tom Bergeron, btw, is the name of the "male host" and yes, you've probably seen him on "America's Funniest Home Videos," his other big hosting gig on ABC.
I noticed that the judges on Dancing With The Stars did not even have the courtesy to show up for Susan's performance last Tuesday. Apparently they do not realize that many current viewers only continued to watch the show because Susan Boyle was on it (not to mention the number of new viewers who watched the show for the first time because Susan was on it). I do not feel the need to continue to watch the remainder of the season. This has been the poorest season to date. Susan was beautiful and sounded amazing as always.
I forget the names of the Hosts on that show, but they seemed rather snobby as well. I know the male host has been on a number of shows over the years, and I still have no idea what his name is.
I do hope Susan never appears on ABC or CBS again (CBS obviously because they employ that horrid Amanda Holden). The female British judges seem to be overly jealous and upset since they found out they went through the pain of all that plastic surgery for nothing. They lash out at Susan because they are angry that all it takes to make it is an amazing talent and stunning personality (something both Amanda Holden and Sharon Osbourne lack completely).
SUSAN BOYLE, YOU ARE THE GREATEST AND DON'T LET ANYONE TELL YOU DIFFERENT. WE LOVE YOU HERE IN AMERICA. IGNORE THE NEGATIVE. I CANNOT WAIT TO BUY YOUR NEW ALBUM. MAY GOD PROTECT YOU AND KEEP YOU SAFE AND STRONG IN THIS NEW WORLD. AN AMERICAN, A DEVOTED FAN AND A COWGIRL... YOU ARE EXTREMELY SPECIAL IN THE EYES OF GOD. WHITE SWAN
Susan Boyle has the most beautiful woman's voice I have heard in my long lifetime...this includes many of the"greats" in opera. I hope to have the opportunity to listen to her performance on Dancing With the Stars, but have yet to locate it on either TV or the computer this evening, 11 Nov.'09.
I hope she sings a different track on the Today show. She seems to be calmer before the audience which is great. I wish the best for her and can't wait for the album.
She was quite lovely and refined, very polished. I would have liked to have seen more of that raw bravado she displayed on "American Idol" in what seems like a lifetime ago. She is charming and I'm looking forward to the album release just to see how much she's changed --- and hopefully not too much!
I really enjoyed seeing Susan Boyle perform. She has a lovely unique voice that I find thrilling to listen to. She has the highest pre-release sales EVER for a C.D. on Amazon so I'm not the only one who thinks so - not to mention Simon Cowell who knows a marketable singer when he sees one. She was wonderful tonight! God bless her!
