SATURDAY
"Megafault" (8 p.m., SyFy): A massive earthquake just might split the earth in half, unless seismologists and miners team up. If I may quote my editor: Eriq LaSalle and Brittany Murphy, together at last.
"Making His Band" (8 p.m., MTV): The "his," of course, refers to Diddy. In the season finale, he chooses the lucky crooners who will sing backup on his "Last Train to Paris" tour.
"Wanda Sykes: I'ma Be Me" (9 p.m., HBO): A standup special for the "New Adventures of Old Christine" star, who shares her thoughts on our first black president, modern pirates, her first bikini wax, and working on a gay cruise.
"The Food of the Gods" (9 p.m., WCIU-Channel 26): Svengoolie hosts this 1976 gem about a remote island inhabited by giant wasps and an enormous killer chicken. Even worse, the jumbo rats are mobilizing for war.
SUNDAY
"Discovering Ardi" (8 p.m., Discovery): Ardipithecus ramidus is a 4.4-million-old hominid skeleton. Scientists are trying to find out if we could be related.
"Drop Dead Diva" (8 p.m., Lifetime): In the season finale, Paula Abdul returns.
"Leave It to Lamas" (10 p.m., E!): Follow the antics of Shayne ("The Bachelor: London Calling"), A.J. ("As the World Turns") and Lorenzo (no introduction necessary) in the latest fun family show. Fernando would be so proud.
"The Girls Next Door" (10:30 p.m., E!): New season, interchangeable blondes. Crystal Harris and the Shannon twins aspire to their own Us magazine blurbs, and maybe if they're lucky, a fling with Criss Angel.
"JFK: 3 Shots That Changed America" (8 p.m., History): Part 1 of 2 includes home movies, Dallas police-radio recordings and news footage.
