Wednesday night highlights, 10/7/09

"America's Next Top Model" (7 p.m., WGN-Channel 9): The indescribable Benny Ninja stops by to teach the petite models how to dance without expressions on their faces.

"The Middle" (7:30 p.m., WLS-Channel 7): More indignities for the Heck family: Frankie (Patricia Heaton) gets involved with a car full of jelly beans, and adolescent Sue doesn't make the swim team.

"Mythbusters" (8 p.m., Discovery): In the season opener, the team investigates whether it's scientifically possible to knock someone's socks off.

"South Park" (9 p.m., Comedy Central): The boys are back in a new episode titled "Dead Celebrities." Ike is being haunted, so Kyle calls in the Ghost Hunters for help.

"Man Shops Globe" (9 p.m., Sundance): Keith Johnson, who may have the greatest job in the world, is buyer-at-large for Anthropologie. In this new series, he hunts for one-of-a-kind treasures to inspire the line. First up: Paris' flea markets.
