"Scare Tactics" (8 p.m., SyFy): In the fine tradition of Shannen Doherty and Stephen Baldwin, "30 Rock's" Tracy Morgan hosts the first episode of the new season. The hidden camera series is sort of a horror-themed "Punk'd."

"Dirty Jobs" (8 p.m., Discovery): In the opener for the new season: crushing abandoned boats and recycling used mattresses.

"Disaster House" (9 p.m., DIY): Originally known as "Crash Test House," each week the house will be subjected to various indignities. Tonight, a piano is dropped through the roof and a helicopter slices into it. That's got to be a stress reliever.

"Sons of Anarchy" (9 p.m., FX): I have a soft spot for the character names in this biker drama: Jax, Clay, Juice, Half Sack, Chibs, Opie and Piney.
