'I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!': The Patti report

| | Comments (6) | TrackBacks (0)

On last night's "I'm a Celebrity ... Get Me Out of Here!," Patti Blagojevich got more camera time to testify about the tragedy that has befallen her. Among her revelations:

*Rod was the people's governor.

"People are really supportive," said Patti. "My husband's a jogger, you know, he runs, and people will be honking and thumbs up [and saying], keep fighting, don't let 'em get to you..."

*Longtime friends turned against them.

"Good friends, they just weren't strong enough to stand against the tide or speak up for him," said Patti.

*The Blagojeviches aren't impressed by luxury.

"There's a 35-room, 50-thousand-square-foot mansion in Springfield with the chefs and the butlers and stuff," said Patti, "but we decided that for our girls, we wanted to keep them in the school where they were and keep them in the home where they were, because it would be too much . . . Boy, those people in Springfield hated us for that."

*At least one co-celebrity suspects that she's calculating.

John Salley: "So you play quiet wife but you know how to work?"
Patti: "I express my opinions when appropriate."
John: "Classic."

In other "I'm a Celebrity" news:

*Heidi Pratt's sister Holly Montag arrived. "Thank Jesus Christ almighty that she hasn't pulled out a spray bottle of shampoo," said Daniel Baldwin.

*Lou Diamond Phillips had to explain to the others what "dexterity" means.

*Sanjaya Malakar cried.

*Janice Dickinson peed in the camp, and then denied it.

*Daniel Baldwin shared that he had multiple metal plates and steel screws in his vertebrae.
During the live portion at the end of the show, Lou chose Patti to get a phone call from home. "Gotta check in with Rod," he said.

Tomorrow night, another cast member will be voted out.

"Nothing funny or cute or entertaining about Patti. She was part and parcel of her husband's criminal conspiracy"

Pffft. Patti's freakin' adorable. So damn cute, with a great butt. No wonder Sally's got a crush on her.

Springfield only has 110,000 people - hardly enough for them to worry about. Blago crippled the state, and was oblivious to the fact that even his "friends" in Chicago hated him. The Speaker of the House, also a Democrat, couldn't even be in the same room, because Blago wouldn't step up and exercise the leadership the Governor has to exercise (budget, for instance). Same with Patti's father, Dick Mell, a leading Democrat in Chicago. And the Chicago Mayor. Give it up, Patti - you and your husband had contempt for us commoners, and you stepped in your own poop.

Could it be more obvious that the Blagojevich's are using the show to gain public sympathy for their upcoming trial? It appears as though Patti is neglecting to inform her jungle-mates of the recorded, damning audio transactions of her husband's conversations. These people are not from Chicago. Of course they will have pity on her. She is doing a great acting job - cleaning up after her husband. Typical wifely duty.

Another slap to the face of every hardworking taxpayer, honest law enforcement professional, or dedicated reporter. Patti. Thank you for the morning laughs! By the way? How is your realestate business going? When was the last time you closed a million dollar deal? Oh I forgot Rod is no longer governor? And niether are you. Thank God.

Nothing funny or cute or entertaining about Patti. She was part and parcel of her husband's criminal conspiracy against the people of the state of Illinois. I notice you (Sun-Times) have her image prominently displayed on your main page, so you are helping to enable her. The only place I want to see her and her husband is in jail.

I give her alot of credit for going there doing that stupid show for the money. They need it and she has kids to feed.

I'm starting to like her.
