Teri Hatcher's character on "Desperate Housewives," Susan, traditionally has had some bad luck with men. She has a thing for hot servicemen (see: plumber Mike) and it looked like things were going well with house painter Jackson -- until actor Gale Harold, in real life, got in a motorcycle accident.
Harold, 39, landed in intensive care last October. But now he's back on the set, and rumored to be ready to propose to Susan. What could go wrong?

Harold told the AP, "You can play hard, but you may have to pay a price." Here's hoping his chiseled face is intact.
His first episode back airs on May 3 on ABC.
