Dick Clark lives, and he'll be back for his annual gig again: "Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve." But at the other end of the generational scale is Clark's groomed successor, co-host Ryan Seacrest, and this year's crop of young teen stars, which will include performances by the Jonas Bros. and Taylor Swift.

Lionel Richie also will perform, ABC said in its announcement today. Those names add to the previously announced performers: Fall Out Boy, Natasha Bedingfield, Jesse McCartney, Ne-Yo, Pussycat Dolls, Solange and Robin Thicke -- those will all be segments broadcast from a Hollywood Party, hosted by Fergie

Kellie Pickler will be on hand in Times Square with live reports on the festivities.

It all starts Dec. 31 at 9 p.m. on ABC.

I can't wait to see this! Why isn't Kellie Pickler performing in addition to hosting??? She's one of the best in the business and won the CMT Music Awards Performance of the Year award for the best live TV performance! Her new single Best Days of Your Life is a hot pop/rock number she wrote with Taylor and Taylor sings harmony on the song. If they sing it together live for the first time ever on Dick Clark's New Year's Rockin' Eve it would be more awesome than words can describe! 2 of the hottest performers in country/pop/rock music Kellie and Taylor will already be there, they are like sisters and it's Kellie's single. Hello!? Talk about a real no brainer! Somebody please hook it up!!! Let's get Best Days on pop radio too!!! Check it out at Kellie's myspace

then check out some concert videos and don't say I didn't warn you but Kellie's live performances ROCK!!! In the first video she's singing Best Days at a huge outdoor festival, Coca-Cola 600 Speed Street
