Tyler Perry's latest cauldron of crazy characters is another TV series -- TBS just picked up "Meet the Browns," a spin-off from Perry's successful sitcom "House of Payne."

The cable network ordered 10 episodes, which will start airing in January.

"Meet the Browns" stars David Mann as Leroy Brown, a character who earlier this year was in Perry's hit film of the same name as well as a few eps of "House of Payne." The new series begins after Brown inherits a dilapidated house from his deceased father.
