Neil Patrick Harris as the Shoe Fairy on an upcoming "Sesame Street."

Is "Sesame Street" the new "Saturday Night Live"?

It sure seems that way lately, with young stars going for "Street" cred by appearing on the iconic children's television show. Norah Jones did it, and Feist earlier this year turned her hit "1,2,3,4" into a tailor-made kids counting song. Lots of celebs make the effort.

The latest hip visitor to the street: Neil Patrick Harris. Fresh off his successful role in Joss Whedon's Internet musical last week, "Dr. Horrible's Sing-Along Blog," Harris shows up in this video (we can't embed it!) as the Shoe Fairy. Well ...

In the first "Robot Chicken" episode of "Star Wars" parodies, Joey Fatone was seen cutting a new single with Jabba the Hutt's blue bandleader.

''Robot Chicken: Star Wars Episode II'' is a go.

Just days after the Adult Swim show landed a best animated series Emmy nomination for its ''Star Wars'' episode, the cable network is moving ahead with a sequel that will premiere Nov. 16.

The announcement, though, came through a bit of a gag by Leno himself ...

Look who returned! Austin Scarlett, from "Runway" season one, kicked off season five as a guest judge.

Garbage. She said it herself. The "outfit" she was making looked like trash. And maybe that's because she made it out of trash bags.

So why wasn't Stella the first one cut on last night's season-five premiere of "Project Runway"?

Fox’s long-rumored ‘‘Prison Break’’ spinoff might be less like ‘‘Private Practice’’ and more like ‘‘CSI: Miami.’’

Executive producer Matt Olmstead and co-executive producer Zack Estrin said Monday that they’ve ditched their previous plan to introduce a female character in the regular series and then spin her off into a separate show set in a women’s prison. Her name is Terri, she's 39, a Columbia College grad from Chicago, and she loves Karl Lagerfeld. She'll be competing against people with names such as Blayne, Korto and Suede to win the fifth season of "Project Runway," starting at 8 p.m. Wednesday on Bravo.

Terri is a freelance designer who favors just what you see her wearing above: low-waist, bell-cut black pants. She is, of course, "working on my own fashion line." Looks like her fashion sense might bring some funk to the show while others bring only noise ...
