The march of the crazies

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

Alexis is up. She looks a bit like Jem. She says she marches to a different drummer and thinks "Allentown" was written by Bon Jovi (it was Billy Joel).

She sings Jefferson Airplane's "Somebody to Love." She's not that bad.

Simon lets her down easy. "This competition isn't right for you," he tells her.

"I thank you. I will leave with my dignity," she says (but doesn't). She has a meltdown, thus extending her 15 seconds of fame. She wants to be a singer or actor. Suddenly, this all becomes clear. This is her screen test and it's being seen by millions of people.

She and the show are trying too hard at this point.
