I had the chance to visit this part of the world when I stayed at Explora's lodge in Atacama a few years ago. It was one of the most memorable places I've ever been. Gorgeous desert scenery, volcanoes, dunes, impossibly blue skies.

The South American-based travel company is inviting them to a 3-day all-inclusive stay at Explora's Atacama lodge. I hope the rescue workers take Explora up on its generous offer. They won't forget it!
