Last week, I wrote a story about my recent stay at the remote Clayoquot Wilderness Resort in Canada.

In case you're interested in finding out more about the property, here are some details:

Clayoquot Wilderness Resort

What: 20 luxury, safari-style tents in an all-inclusive resort with gourmet meals, spa treatments and gear and guides for a wide range of outdoor activities.

Where: On the west coast of Canada’s Vancouver Island, accessible only by boat or floatplane (about an hour-long ride from Vancouver).

When: May through September, with July and August being popular months for families.

How: Three, four and seven-night packages are available May through October. Packages start at $4,750 CAD (about $4,550 U.S.) per person, which includes roundtrip transportation to the resort from Vancouver or Tofino. Call (888) 333-5405 or www.wildretreat.com.
