How Was Your Ride Home?

| | Comments (0) | TrackBacks (0)

How was the CTA and Metra last night, after the big rally? Did everyone get home OK, or were there delays? And if there were delays, did it matter, if people were happy with the election results?

I rode my bike home last night, around 7 p.m. I passed a group of five young people at Division and Milwaukee, hunched over a portable device checking the headlines. "He's getting it," said the kid who was holding the PDA. "It's Obama, Obama, Obama." The word "Obama" floated up from every conversation I overheard, cycling past.
