At the March CTA board meeting, the agency's inspector general mentioned that her office had received "an almost unprecedented" number of customer service complaints, many of which were about electronic fare cards.

Have you had problems with your Chicago Card or Chicago Card Plus? If so, what kind, and how responsive has the CTA been about addressing them?

I have lived in Chicago since March 07 and I am now on my third Chicago Card. They just seem to stop working after a few months and then I have to get a new one reissued and pay the $5 fee. I am not sure what is making these cards not work.
