DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

WEDNESDAY, MAY 22, 2013

In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the day, the President will meet with Secretary of the Treasury Lew in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the evening, as part of their "In Performance at the White House" series, the President and First Lady will host a concert in the East Room honoring singer-songwriter Carole King, who will be awarded the 2013 Library of Congress Gershwin Prize for Popular Song. The Vice President will also attend. The President's remarks will be pooled press.
