WEEKEND GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

SATURDAY, MAY 25, 2013, SUNDAY, MAY 26, 2013 AND MONDAY, MAY 27, 2013

On Saturday, the President has no public events scheduled.

On Sunday, the President will travel to the Oklahoma City area. The departure from the South Lawn and the arrival at Tinker Air Force Base will be open press. While in Oklahoma, the President will see firsthand the response to the devastating tornadoes and severe weather that impacted the area on Sunday night and Monday, visit with impacted families, as well as thank first responders. The President's visit will be pooled press.

In the evening, the President will return to Washington, DC. The departure from Tinker Air Force Base and the arrival on the South Lawn will be open press.

On Monday morning, the President and First Lady will host a breakfast in honor of Gold Star Families. This breakfast in the State Dining Room is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President and First Lady will travel to Arlington National Cemetery where the President will lay a wreath at the Tomb of the Unknown Soldier and deliver remarks. The wreath-laying as well as the President's remarks are open to pre-credentialed media.

Schedule for the Week of May 28, 2013

On Tuesday, the President will visit the Jersey Shore to view the rebuilding and recovery efforts underway following Hurricane Sandy's devastating impact along the coastline last fall, including the efforts by local businesses to prepare for the 2013 summer season. The President, joined by Governor Chris Christie, will visit with families and business owners who have shown such resilience in the face of the destructive storm, and make clear that while the rebuilding efforts to date have been extensive, the administration will continue to stand with the impacted communities as the important work of recovery continues. On Tuesday evening, the President will deliver remarks at the AAPI Heritage Month Celebration at the White House.

On Wednesday, the President will travel to Chicago for DCCC events. The President will remain overnight in Chicago. More details on the President's travel to Chicago will be released when available.

On Thursday, the President will return from Chicago and attend meetings at the White House.

On Friday, the President will attend meetings at the White House.
