In the morning, as part of the Joining Forces initiative, the President, Vice President, First Lady and Dr. Jill Biden will make a significant employment announcement for veterans and military spouses. This event will take place in the East Room and is open press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

Later in the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet with Secretary of Defense Hagel in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.
