DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR

THURSDAY, MARCH 28, 2013

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing. The President will then meet with senior advisors. These meetings in the Oval Office are closed press.

Later in the morning, the President will hold an event in the East Room where he will stand with mothers who are urging Congress to take action on common-sense measures to protect children from gun violence. The President will also be joined by law enforcement officials, victims of gun violence, and other stakeholders. The Vice President will also attend. The President's remarks will be open press.

In the afternoon, the President will welcome President Ernest Bai Koroma of Sierra Leone, President Macky Sall of Senegal, President Joyce Banda of Malawi, and Prime Minister José Maria Pereira Neves of Cape Verde to the White House.
