Obama taking off for Chicago en route to Argonne Lab

WASHINGTON--President Barack Obama is flying now to Chicago's O'Hare Airport, en route to Argonne Lab in suburban Lemont to push Congress to approve his package of energy plans. According to the pool reports, among those boarding the plane with Obama were Valerie Jarrett, senior adviser; Rob Nabors, deputy chief of staff; Josh Earnest, deputy press secretary; Marvin Nicholson, trip director and Pete Souza, White House photographer.

2:00 p.m. EDT Attorney General Eric Holder, Acting Associate Attorney General Tony West and Acting Senior Counselor for the Access to Justice Initiative Deborah Leff will deliver remarks at the Justice Department's Gideon v. Wainwright 50th Anniversary Commemorative Program. Following the remarks, Attorney General Holder will lead a discussion with former Vice President Walter Mondale and U.S. Supreme Court Justice Elena Kagan.
