DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
WEDNESDAY, JANUARY 16, 2013

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

Later in the morning, the President and Vice President will hold an event at the White House to unveil a package of proposals to reduce gun violence. They will be joined by children from around the country who wrote the President letters in the wake of the Newtown tragedy expressing their concerns about gun violence and school safety, along with their parents. The event in the South Court Auditorium is open press.
