WASHINGTON--Mayor Rahm Emanuel and David Axelrod headline a July 30 fund-raiser in Chicago targeting Hispanic donors. Vice President Joe Biden hits Chicago on the same day for a breakfast funder at the Palmer House.
The event is hosted by Alejandro Silva, the chairman of Evans Food and his wife, Amelia, at an event organized by the Obama for America campaign Futuro Fund, created to pitch Hispanic contributors. The tab for the event runs from $2,500 to $10,000.
Rahm is President Barack Obama's former chief of staff and Axelrod is Obama's chief strategist.
