WASHINGTON--The GOP and Democratic candidates in the three biggest congressional races in Illinois are waiting until the last hours--and maybe minutes--on Sunday to file their latest fund-raising reports. They are due by midnight Sunday. Each contender sees a perceived advantage in letting the opponent file first. As of 10 p.m. est, no reports have been electronically filed with the Federal Election Commission from:
8th District, Democrat Tammy Duckworth and Republican Joe Walsh
10th District, Republican Bob Dold and Democrat Brad Schneider
11th District, Democrat Bill Foster, Republican Judy Biggert
Give it up already.
UPDATE
