DUCKWORTH VS WALSH FUNDRAISING

Democrat Tammy Duckworth outraised Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) in this last fund-raising quarter by more than two-to-one, but the rivals head into the months ahead almost evenly matched in the amount of cash on hand.

Duckworth raised more in 2011 and 2012, but she had to finance an expensive March Democratic primary. Walsh avoided a serious primary challenge by running from the 8th district. The latest Federal Election Commission reports, filed Sunday, cover April 1 through June 30.
