Michele Bachmann endorses Mitt. Her statement, DNC react

WASHINGTON--Mitt Romney scooped up the endorsement of Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-Mn.), a one-time rival for the GOP presidential nomination and the Democrats push back hard--as part of their drive to get women's votes for President Barack Obama.

Bachmann, in a statement said, "This is the last chance we have to keep America from going "forward", over the cliff, as Governor Romney said, and restore the values of prosperity and freedom. This is the opportunity for conservatives, independents, and disaffected Democrats to join me and Governor Romney in denying Obama a second term."

Democratic National Committee statement said, "How did Mitt Romney buy the endorsement of Tea Party Leader and anti-choice crusader Michele Bachmann? By selling out America's women to the extreme GOP base that wants to defund Planned Parenthood, restrict women's access to preventive health care and turn back the clock on women's health."

Bachmann Endorses Romney

Woodbury, Minn - Today, Congresswoman Michele Bachmann issued the following statement on her endorsement of Mitt Romney for President of the United States:

"This November, Americans will be at the polls with a serious choice- they can vote for more of Barack Obama's transformation of America, with more joblessness, higher energy prices, fewer opportunities for our children, more government controls, bailouts, and failed economic policies, or they can vote for a new vision of prosperity and liberty. I'm honored to announce that today, I am endorsing Governor Mitt Romney for President of the United States, a man who will preserve the American dream of prosperity and liberty.

"We've had a hard fought battle already to choose a candidate. Being personally involved in the endorsement process was an honor for me. And I want to thank everyone involved in the campaigns, from the candidates, the delegates, the volunteers, all of us can be proud of our efforts.

"This is the last chance we have to keep America from going "forward", over the cliff, as Governor Romney said, and restore the values of prosperity and freedom. This is the opportunity for conservatives, independents, and disaffected Democrats to join me and Governor Romney in denying Obama a second term. On November 6th, the only option is Mitt Romney for President."

Romney, Bachmann, McDonnell: Turning Back the Clock on Women's Health
http://youtu.be/3pSepfOzhUo

We've already seen where Mitt Romney and Bob McDonnell stand when it comes to women's health care. Mitt Romney has said he wants to "get rid of" Federal Funding for Planned Parenthood. Bob McDonnell signed into law a bill that requires women to undergo an invasive ultrasound procedure before they can obtain an abortion. Mitt Romney and Bob McDonnell have made it clear they want to turn back the clock on the women's health and it's attracting the admiration of one of Congress' far right wing luminaries: Michele Bachmann

Today, Michele Bachmann is endorsing her former rival and joining McDonnell and Romney at an event today in Portsmouth, Virginia. How did Mitt Romney buy the endorsement of Tea Party Leader and anti-choice crusader Michele Bachmann? By selling out America's women to the extreme GOP base that wants to defund Planned Parenthood, restrict women's access to preventive health care and turn back the clock on women's health.
