DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
THURSDAY, APRIL 5, 2012
In the morning, the President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing. This meeting is closed press.
Later, the President and the Vice President meet for lunch. This lunch in the Private Dining Room is closed press.
In the afternoon, the President will sign the Jumpstart Our Business Startups (JOBS) Act, which includes key initiatives the President proposed last fall to help small businesses and startups grow and create jobs. This event in the Rose Garden is open press.
In the evening, the President will host a screening for the film, "To Kill a Mockingbird," in the family theater. This year marks the 50th anniversary of the American classic film, which will air on Saturday evening with an introductory message from the President. The screening in the family movie theater is closed press.
Later in the evening, the President will attend two campaign events in Washington, DC. The first event at the Jefferson Hotel is closed press and the second event at the Mandarin Oriental is print pool coverage for remarks.
