WASHINGTON--Vice President Joe Biden hits Milwaukee and Chicago on Thursday for fund-raisers, touching down in Wisconsin in advance of the Tuesday primary there.
Biden has two events in Chicago at 5 p.m. and 7 p.m. One of the fund-raisers is at the Lincoln Park home of real estate developer Elzie Higginbottom, with the ask between $2,500 and $10,000. The other is a $10,000-a-couple fund-raiser at the Gold Coast home of Greg Hansen.
If it's Wisconsin, and it's Friday, it's a fish fry.....GOP frontrunner Mitt Romney stumps at a fish fry in Milwaukee on Friday as he zips around Wisconsin over the week-end. Romney delivers a speech on the economy at Lawrence University in Appleton. Rick Santorums' campaign is sending him to a fish fry and bowling in Weston, Wi.
But I digress... In Chicago on Thursday, with Biden's visit coming at afternoon rush hour, the Office of Emergency Management and Communications (the OEMC to you) issued a traffic advisory. "Expect delays on Lake Shore Drive and the Chicago land expressway systems during the afternoon rush hour. The Chicago Blackhawks also host the St. Louis Blues at the United Center for a 7:30 p.m. game. Expect additional traffic in the area."
