President Obama official schedule and guidance, Jan. 3, 2012 White House return

DAILY GUIDANCE AND PRESS SCHEDULE FOR
TUESDAY, JANUARY 3, 2012

In the morning, the First Family will arrive in Washington, DC. The arrival on the South Lawn is open press.

Later, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. The President will then meet with senior advisors. These meetings are closed press.

In the afternoon, the President and the Vice President will meet for lunch in the Private Dining Room. This lunch is closed press.

Later, the President and the Vice President will meet with Secretary of Defense Panetta in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press.

In the evening, the President will participate in a video teleconference with Iowa Caucus attendees. There will be pool coverage of this event.
