Walsh wants House to allow Christmas, Hanukkah in franked mail

WASHINGTON--Rep. Joe Walsh (R-Ill.) is asking the House to allow franked mail to include references to Christmas and Hanukkah. He sent a letter to other House member along with Rep. Mike Ross (D-Ark.) asking the rules be changed, according to a story in The Hill. The rules are too politically correct for Walsh. Walsh's office wants to highlight that Tea Party Walsh, who will face a big 2012 re-election battle, in a Democratic district, has reached across the aisle.
